Highly secure connection with your machines is guaranteed by our IEC 62443 compliant edge gateway. The SecureEdge Pro sets up a secure outgoing connection that can be deactivated locally by the customer. The configurable OT port lets you isolate the factory network from the internet. IXON's Certificate Authority system prevents Man-in-the-Middle attacks, offers secure boot, while using a fixed IP address or opening firewall ports is no longer necessary.

Easy web-based access for remote troubleshooting, analysis, software updates or maintenance. The industrial VPN router establishes a secure remote connection from the PLC, Industrial PCs, robots and HMIs to IXON Cloud and the built-in firewall secures the local IT network. No user license fees or bandwidth restrictions.

The advanced, built-in firewall protects the machines in your network and can be easily configured via the touchscreen or IXON Cloud. The configurable OT/LAN port isolates the factory network from the internet. A dedicated TPM chip can be used to create cryptographic keys.

The SecureEdge Pro gateway connects to a VPN server within the IXON Cloud infrastructure. It always automatically seeks the correct service and fastest available server. This gives you worldwide remote access to every device behind the router, like the PLC and devices in the local machine network.

Gain access to the data in your machine devices with data logging, fully managed in IXON Cloud. The edge gateway supports protocols such as OPC-UA, Modbus TCP, Siemens S7, Ethernet/IP and BACnet. This makes it very easy to collect data from PLCs, HMIs, IPCs, sensors, frequency invertors, drives and other industrial components. 

The SecureEdge Pro gateway actively monitors the machine for certain events. In case of a trigger, users are informed about the event via IXON Cloud.

Designed for the control cabinet. The modern chipset ensures a compact design. The SecureEdge Pro gateway can easily be mounted on a DIN-rail and its connections are where you want them to be.

Any PLC controller and HMI brand are supported for remote access, such as Siemens PLC, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric PLC, Delta, Beckhoff, Omron PLC and Mitsubishi.

The SecureEdge Pro is designed for edge computing, for e.g. AI applications, advanced data analysis and security enhancements. You can download and install pre-built edge apps available on the IXON Marketplace, or deploy your own customized Docker apps.

The SecureEdge Pro has a powerful ARM Quad-core 1.8Ghz processor, plus a dedicated NPU chip for AI and Machine Learning (ML) purposes. Combined with its 4GB DDR4 SDRAM and the option to store data locally on the gateway, you can execute complex and data-heavy applications near the machine.

IXON Cloud sends commands and configurations to the SecureEdge Pro gateway using the built-in MQTT connection. The edge gateway in turn sends status reports, data and notifications to IXON Cloud.

The SecureEdge Pro gateway functions as a Wi-Fi hotspot, but can also connect to internet over a Wi-Fi network. It even offers these functions simultaneously.

Remotely push the latest SecureEdge Pro firmware to the gateway using "firmware over the air" (FOTA). Only firmware signed by IXON is accepted, protecting against any unauthorized changes. IXON releases firmware updates on a regular basis.
